sometimes we have gender confusion

A phone conversation I just had with John:

John: "Hey--I'm going to record American Idol tonight."
Me: "Wow. So, when did you turn into a 12-year-old girl?"

(Give him some credit--it's the Salt Lake auditions, so it's totally civic pride that he's exhibiting. Don't judge, y'all!)
